Environmental responsibility

Climate Action

In 2023, we began measuring our environmental impact by calculating our carbon footprint, which allows us to identify critical areas for improvement and set targets aligned with global goals. We have adopted environmentally responsible purchasing practices, prioritising products, and equipment with reduced environmental impact, such as certified chemicals, reusable microfiber materials, and reduced plastic packaging. Our goal is to transition our fleet to electric vehicles.  As of December 2024, 25% of our vehicle fleet comprises electric vehicles.

Responsible Consumption and Production

We collaborate with suppliers and contractors who share our values. Through ESG assessments, we ensure that our strategic partners prioritise issues such as emission reduction and social value creation in the supply chain. As part of our commitment to sustainable solutions, we offer clients products and machinery with high sustainability ratings and prioritise certified chemicals as a standard offering.

Since 2023, our head office has run on 100% renewable electricity. In waste management, we are improving our waste disposal practices and working with partners on reverse logistics for specific items. Our waste reduction efforts include eliminating single-use plastics at our head office and providing reusable kitchenware.

Clean Water and Sanitation

The I-Mop initiative has allowed us to make a tangible impact on global water supplies. Through a 1:1 program, every litre of water saved by the company results in one litre of clean water being donated to communities in developing countries where it is urgently needed.

Social Responsibility

Health and safety are top priorities for our stakeholders. Since 2018, we have held ISO 45001 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management, ensuring that our operations meet the highest health and safety standards.

Our goal is to improve our EcoVadis assessment score annually and maintain ISO certifications for Quality Management (ISO 9001), Environmental Management (ISO 14001), and Health and Safety (ISO 45001). Our compliance with these standards is verified through regular internal and external audits, and we have successfully maintained these certifications over the years.
